Our story
Why we started
Most cricket in India is not played in stadiums. It is played on Sunday mornings on hired grounds, under floodlights in box arenas, in housing-society lanes and in office leagues that run all year. It is serious cricket to the people playing it, yet almost none of it is recorded properly.
Scores end up on a scrap of paper, or in a scorebook that disappears by the next season. A batter's best innings lives on only as a story. Organisers juggle spreadsheets and group chats to keep a tournament table up to date.
BOOKMYOPPONENT exists to fix that. We started with cricscore, which turns a phone into a scorebook that is quick to use at the ground and keeps every ball for the record.
